About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coach to join our team at the Canadian Amateur Diving Association (BC Section). As a Coach, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Develop Training Sessions: Design and implement comprehensive training plans to help athletes achieve their goals and improve their performance.
  • Motivate and Prepare Athletes: Foster a positive and supportive team environment, motivating athletes to reach their full potential and prepare them for competitive events.
  • Analyze and Evaluate Performance: Assess athletes' performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance their skills and abilities.
  • Observe and Evaluate Prospective Athletes: Evaluate the skills and performance of prospective athletes, providing feedback and guidance to help them develop their abilities.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as sports science or coaching, is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in coaching or a related field is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
