Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Chilliwack General Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  2. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health-related topics.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  5. Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
