Position Overview

Financial Responsibilities
  • Manage budgets ranging from $100,001 to $500,000
Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate engineering projects to team members and technical staff
  • Engage with clients to assess project requirements
  • Coordinate activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion
  • Oversee daily operations and provide strategic direction
  • Manage budgets and expenditures effectively
  • Deliver comprehensive project analysis and design guidance to clients
  • Review engineering projects for approval or modification
  • Establish and enforce engineering policies and procedures
  • Authorize the creation of product or service specifications
  • Evaluate technical designs and engineering outputs
  • Supervise data analysis and report preparation
  • Advise upper management on engineering matters
  • Oversee contract management
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Lead and instruct teams
Supervisory Duties
  • Manage working groups and committees
Qualifications
  • Must hold a Provincial or Territorial professional engineer registration
Technical Proficiency
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, ERP software, and MS Project
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
Experience Requirements
  • Project management and coordination experience
  • Quality assurance and control expertise
  • Specialized knowledge in environmental engineering
