Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program Leader

LaSalle College Vancouver is part of the LCI Education Network, a global network of 23 post-secondary campuses across 5 continents. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Program Director to lead our Culinary Arts and Hospitality program.
Key Responsibilities:- Academic Leadership: Provide mentorship to students, improve the student experience, and promote a culture of learning and excellence.
- Curriculum Development: Align curriculum with Skilled Trades BC standards, acquire or maintain accreditation, and ensure curriculum is relevant and pedagogically appropriate.
- Operational Management: Create an annual operating and capital departmental budget, monitor and maintain course supplies and equipment, and foster inter-departmental collaborations.
- Community Engagement: Maintain an active Program Advisory Committee, conduct outreach to industry and stakeholders, and participate in BCCAT committee meetings.
- Teaching and Research: Teach a set number of courses each term and participate in College events and committees.
Requirements: Advanced credentials in a discipline related to Culinary Arts and Hospitality, minimum of 3 years related experience, and advising and teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
