Join Our Team as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Closing the Gap Healthcare is a leading provider of home and community-based healthcare services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to Canadians of all ages. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.

About the Role

As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-based Rehabilitation Program. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and local healthcare systems to provide patient care both virtually and in-person. Your expertise will be utilized to assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs, including speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-based Rehabilitation Program
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and local healthcare systems to provide patient care
  • Assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs, including speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders
  • Provide short-term consultation, training, and intervention for specific rehabilitation needs
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Current valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
