Carpenter/Labourer - Lake Country Co-operative @ Homes Prince Albert

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Labourer to join our team at Lake Country Co-operative. As a Carpenter/Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting skilled trades persons in performing construction activities at residential, commercial, and agricultural construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach and support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles.
- Deliver outstanding guest service at all points of contact and through various communication channels.
- Load and unload materials, move materials to work areas, and assist with erecting and dismantling of forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades.
- Operate and maintain various power tools, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and remove rubble and other debris at job sites.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and asset protection.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (Occupational Health & Safety).
- Eye for quality control/assurance and safety from start to finish.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Physical fitness, willingness to learn, and drive to excel in the position.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Willingness to obtain required safety tickets, including first aid, Fall protection, Aerial lift, and Telehandler certification.
- Carpentry certificate or any level of carpentry technical/apprenticeship process or provincial Journeyperson status is an asset.
