Job Title: Underground Services Miner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Underground Services Miner to join our team at Canadian Royalties. As a key member of our underground mining team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to underground services, including equipment maintenance and material descent.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks according to safety standards and regulations;
  • Inspect equipment before and after shifts;
  • Responsible for the descent of underground material and maintenance of refuge chambers;
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate at least 2 of the following equipment: Boomtruck, Lube Truck, Toyota Jeep;
  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent;
  • FMTM mining modules 1 to 5 and 7;
  • Class 1 driver's license;
  • Explosives permit;
  • Heavy equipment course or equivalent experience;
  • Good knowledge of preventive mechanics;
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Working Conditions:

The work location is in Nunavik, and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.
