We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Dr J.E. Thibault Dent. Prof. Corp.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for dental examinations, preparing dental instruments and filling materials, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment, educating patients concerning oral hygiene, and performing intra-oral duties.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and dental care
- Perform intra-oral duties, including taking and developing X-rays
- Record dental procedures performed on patients
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- Experience in the field is an asset
- Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) Certification
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
