About the Role
The Fleet Software Group at Clearpath Robotics is seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for extending, monitoring, and maintaining automated test infrastructure for web applications managing fleets of virtual or physics-simulated autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our fleet management software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, and develop effective test plans and strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for full system, component, simulation, and performance testing.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that test results are accurately captured and fed back into the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption within the team.
Requirements
- Experience in software development or test automation in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Ubuntu-based environments and scripting languages (bash, python).
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and source control (Git).
- Knowledge of container orchestration and tooling (Kubernetes, Helm).
- Understanding of web technologies and concepts (REST API, WebSockets, client-side rendering).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps best practices.
- Experience with artifact repositories (JFrog, Harbor).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Netdata).
- Exposure to ROS/Robotics Systems.
