Hotel Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo/St. Jacobs. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring financial stability and profitability.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office.
