Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hematologist to join our Leukemia/BMT Program at BC Cancer. The successful candidate will have expertise in both BMT and hematologic malignancies, with a strong interest in clinical research and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and management of hematologic malignancies and BMT patients
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of life
- Participate in education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements:
- Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
- Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent qualification
- Experience beyond Fellowship training in BMT and hematologic malignancies
- Strong academic achievement and research experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
