Hematologist - Leukemia/BMT Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematologist to join our Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program at the Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have expertise in both BMT and hematologic malignancies, with a strong academic background and a keen interest in clinical research. The ideal candidate will have experience beyond Fellowship training and be able to contribute to the development of disease-specific programs.
About the Team:Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care to patients with blood cancers and other hematologic disorders. We work closely with the BC Cancer Research Centre and the University of British Columbia to advance our understanding of cancer and develop new treatments.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical care to patients with blood cancers and other hematologic disorders
- Contribute to the development of disease-specific programs and research initiatives
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
- Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent qualification
- Experience beyond Fellowship training in BMT and hematologic malignancies
- Strong academic background and research experience
