Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate and supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Material Management: Source and procure materials, tools, and equipment necessary for projects.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are accurately estimated and controlled.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Education: Completion of a trade certification program in carpentry or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry, with a proven track record of leading construction projects.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient, excellent oral and written communication skills, judgement, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
