Job Description

Job Title: Upper Grade Class Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our team as an Upper Grade Class Teacher at the Nelson Waldorf School. The successful candidate will have a passion for Waldorf education and a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the needs of Upper Grade students
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a Waldorf school setting
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Strong knowledge of Waldorf education principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
