Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Family Ministries team at Surrey.
    • Manage and develop the team to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to deliver excellent programs and experiences.
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement programs and initiatives that meet the needs of families at Surrey.
    • Work with the Family Ministries Director to ensure that programs and initiatives align with the overall vision and strategy of Thisisvillagechurch.
  • Volunteer Management
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support the delivery of Family Ministries programs and experiences.
    • Ensure that volunteers are equipped and empowered to make a positive impact on families at Surrey.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with families, staff, and volunteers at Surrey.
    • Collaborate with other teams and departments within Thisisvillagechurch to ensure that Family Ministries programs and initiatives are aligned with the overall vision and strategy of the organization.
Requirements
  • Philosophical Alignment
    • Be philosophically aligned with the mission, focus, and strategy of Thisisvillagechurch.
  • Leadership and Management Experience
    • Have experience in leadership and management, preferably in a church or non-profit setting.
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Have experience in developing and implementing programs and initiatives that meet the needs of families.
  • Volunteer Management
    • Have experience in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with families, staff, and volunteers.
