Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and developing individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address residents' unique needs and goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
- Graduate of a recognized school of nursing.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cultural education and experience an asset.
