Food Service Manager

La Voyager Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency in our food service operations.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely information to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Room and board provided, with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, with standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Previous Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar field of employment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
