About the Role:

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in leading and coaching an in-house team, while coordinating with external vendors to achieve on-time, quality readiness. This is a fast-paced, construction-oriented environment where safety is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety, transportation, and environmental policies.
  • Manage employee/vendor health and safety through daily safety meetings, training, and regular assessments of the branch.
  • Implement robust training and communication actions to maintain operating standards.

Operations:

  • Effectively complete all work orders, with weekly review and reporting to refine strategies.
  • Conduct timely off-rents inspections, accurate work order drafting, and damage billing where necessary.
  • Manage the Work Order system, ensuring variances are less than 10% by maintaining accurate work orders for idle fleet and ensuring idle fleet work orders are less than 9 months old.
  • Order, receive, and distribute materials to support unit completion requirements.
  • Focus on driving first-time quality and reducing service calls by working with the team on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • College degree preferred (industry experience considered)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor in a Construction or Manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office/Outlook
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to create the safest, most cost-effective work environment and exceed customer expectations
  • The ability to create and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment
