Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair cutting, coloring, and styling, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, including consultations, hair cutting, coloring, and styling.
  • Hair Care: Cut, trim, and style hair according to client preferences and hair type.
  • Coloring and Styling: Apply bleach, dyes, tints, and other hair coloring products, as well as use various styling techniques to achieve desired looks.
  • Receptionist Duties: Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hair care industry or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Transportation: Own transportation or ability to use public transportation.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Urban area, barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for extended periods.

  • Client Focus: Excellent client service skills and ability to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Dependability: Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
