Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Hair styling/stylist and hair design qualifications
  • Equivalent experience in the field
Key Responsibilities

As a Hair Stylist, your primary duties will include:

  • Consulting with clients on beauty care treatments
  • Cutting and trimming hair based on client preferences
  • Shampooing and conditioning clients' hair
  • Shaving and trimming beards and mustaches
  • Applying various hair coloring techniques including bleach, tints, and dyes
  • Styling hair through cutting, curling, waving, and perming
  • Recommending hairstyles that suit clients' features and preferences
Hair Coloring Techniques

Familiarity with the following techniques is essential:

  • Dyes and tints
  • Frosting
  • Streaking and highlights

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience is required.
