Senior Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Geoscientist to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our Unconventional Resource Assessment and Data Solution Division, you will play a critical role in advancing unconventional exploration and appraisal programs to full-field development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the unconventional portfolio through technical, risk, resource, and commerciality assessments and strategic plans to support the de-risking of unconventional fields from exploration to development.
- Develop and implement play-based approaches to evaluate tight sand and shale plays, including risk and resource assessments.
- Work closely with the Exploration & Characterization Divisions to support planning and execution of wells.
- Effectively communicate technical information to technical peers and management through presentations and written reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related sciences.
- At least 15 years of experience, with 5-10 years in unconventional plays, including shale or tight gas exploration, development, or strategic planning.
- Experience in managing and de-risking a portfolio of tight sand or shale opportunities from exploration through development.
- Strong understanding of geological and engineering factors that determine success within unconventional plays.
