Job Summary:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food and labor costs, ensuring that they are within budget.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and flexibility.
