The Room Cleaning Specialist at Ponderosa Motor Inn plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest accommodations. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean all furniture to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change sheets to uphold guest comfort.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Linen Management: Stock and organize the linen closet efficiently.
  • Fixture Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Operational Cleanliness: Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators regularly.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or information about facilities.
  • Debris Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain cleanliness.
  • Window and Wall Care: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Changing Room Maintenance: Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns with professionalism.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications
  • Training: Willingness to learn; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
