Clinical Advisor

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Advisor to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a key role in providing clinical support, mentoring, and guidance to social workers, human relations officers, and community workers in the care of individuals with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support and mentoring to social workers and other professionals in the care of individuals with complex disabilities.
- Develop and implement programs and services that promote the well-being of individuals with complex disabilities.
- Collaborate with community workers and other stakeholders to identify and address the needs of individuals with complex disabilities.
- Provide guidance and best practice information to social workers and other professionals on issues related to complex disabilities.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to the care of individuals with complex disabilities.
Requirements:
- University degree in social work.
- Four (4) years of pertinent experience in social work or a related field.
- Ability to communicate theoretical and practical knowledge to mentor and train others.
- Knowledge and experience with ADHD, ASD, and other neurodivergent differences.
- Good understanding of psychosocial issues.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
