About the Role

Xiangguang Constructions Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring that they are properly stored and organized.
  • Performing Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Removing Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Directing Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • General Labouring Duties: Perform general labouring duties, including assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Cantonese and Chinese are considered assets.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including construction sites.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player, hardworking, collaborative.
