Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to establish the configuration of plumbing systems and sewage disposal networks;
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in various types of buildings including residential, commercial, and industrial;
  • Identify and designate locations for pipe fittings and openings in walls and floors;
  • Create necessary openings in structures for plumbing installations;
  • Utilize tools to measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes;
  • Connect pipes using fittings, clamps, screws, bolts, or welding techniques;
  • Inspect pipes for leaks utilizing pressure testing equipment;
  • Prepare estimates as needed;
  • Execute additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Plumbing or Heating;
  • Hold a qualification certificate as a pipefitter, plumber, or heating mechanic from Emploi-Québec, or a journeyman plumbing or heating certificate from the Commission de la construction du Québec (preferred);
  • Relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Valid driver's license.
