Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Tapps Sports Lounge and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
    • Package take-out food and replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food service.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

  • Be a reliable and team-oriented individual.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
