We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Weeneebayko Area Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct health assessments, identify patient needs, and develop strategies to address them.
- Participate in health education and promotion activities to support patient empowerment and self-management.
- Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment by adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Cree language and culture an asset.
