Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at General Recycling Industries. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and assemble orders for outbound delivery or shipment in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
  • Operate a cart, pallet jack, and/or forklift to pick products to the specifications of customer orders and verify product numbers.
  • Prepare orders for delivery or shipping, following company policies and procedures.
  • Follow safety and sanitation programs in the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Complete all required logs and reports to ensure accurate tracking and record-keeping.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Requirements
  • Previous work experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
  • Commitment to safety standards and practices is essential.
  • Ability to work with raw materials and in a cold environment.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
