Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Game Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative and engaging game experiences for a wide range of platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement compelling game systems and features using Unreal Engine 4 & 5's Blueprint system, encompassing elements such as enemy behavior, third-person camera control, level design, animation, and narrative integration.
  • Craft and script immersive event sequences to elevate the overall gameplay experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to seamlessly integrate navigation, collision detection, and AI systems into the game environment.
  • Maintain a meticulous balance across various game mechanics, including health, damage, and shooting systems, ensuring an exhilarating and rewarding gameplay loop.
  • Take ownership of scripting intricate content and systems, guaranteeing their functionality, performance optimization, and adherence to established design principles.
Requirements
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in game design and scripting, with a specialization in Unreal Engine 4 & 5 and the Blueprint system.
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of tackling complex technical and creative challenges with ingenuity.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of object-oriented programming paradigms and their practical application in game development.
  • Command a comprehensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 & 5, particularly the Blueprint system, and have hands-on experience working with animation, camera systems, sound design, and narrative implementation.
