Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing game systems and features using Unreal Engine 4's Blueprint system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement game systems and features, including enemy behavior, third-person camera control, level design, animation, and narrative elements.
  • Design and script event sequences to enhance the gameplay experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate navigation, collision, and enemy AI systems into the game.
  • Balance game systems, including health, damage, and shooting mechanics, to ensure an engaging gameplay experience.
  • Assume responsibility for scripting intricate content and systems, ensuring their functionality, performance, and optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in game design and scripting, with a focus on Unreal Engine 4 and Blueprint systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical and creative challenges.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming patterns and their application in game development.
  • Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 4, particularly the Blueprint system, and experience working with animation, camera work, sound, and narrative systems.
