Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Michelle Nassrallah. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Support clients with medication management and administration.
  • Encourage and support clients to engage in regular exercise and activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and community facilities.

Security and Safety:

We require all employees to undergo a criminal record check and provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift light objects. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a Personal Support Worker who is reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently. You must also be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
