Job Title: Senior Integration Developer

Company: BlackBerry Inc.

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to North America and Europe)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer to join our team at BlackBerry Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions that integrate QNX products with customer systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another related field
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development
  • Strong C programming skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of GCC and GDB
  • Experience working on large projects with high levels of integration
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Hands-on development experience using embedded operating systems (QNX, Linux, GreenHills, VXworks)
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven ability to deal with sensitive matters with a degree of diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to learn about new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the development of software following safety standards (ISO26262, IEC61508, etc) or MIL standards
  • Hands-on experience in the development of software for automotive or industrial applications
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
