Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

GLENWOOD PIZZA & PASTA SHOP is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, including cooks and kitchen helpers, to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation and service.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
