About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Application Support Analyst. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technology issues for applications that impact patient care. This is an integral role in our chain of care, and we are looking for a troubleshooter who takes pride in strong customer service.
You will be part of a team that provides application support to multi-user, mission-critical, and technology applications. You will research and analyze issues with existing applications and/or transactions, impact of upgrades, new releases, patches, etc. on individual and integrated applications. In addition, this role may monitor production technology systems to ensure optimal performance and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot mission-critical applications
- Apply configuration changes
- Application account creations
- Experience with design and code reviews; understanding of revision control and experience with unit testing;
- Database concepts, theories, and principles;
- Requirements analysis and solution design techniques;
- Service-level protocols, change management protocols, and quality control procedures;
- Experience providing technical support, desktop support, or system administration is preferred;
- Knowledge of: SQL/CCL; Relational databases
- Communication: Ability to write/create and communicate (verbal and written), explain or present (technical or non-technical) information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals and/or groups in a clear, accurate, and understandable manner.
- Problem Solving/Analytical: Investigate problems, determine solution options, make required code/system modifications, test, and implement changes.
- Interpersonal: Ability to build cooperative working relationships with coworkers and clients to ensure credibility and confidence in services provided as well as to build capacity in client's knowledge and ability to use and apply services.
- Organizational: Ability to independently prioritize and organize one's own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in a changing environment.
- Team Work/Independence: Effectively work independently and participate as a team member to meet the needs of clients and co-workers and to build productive, positive work relationships.
- Technical: Ability to test and implement or adapt existing systems/applications in an integrated environment taking into account design alternatives, business requirements, system impacts, and cost, resource, and time constraints.
