IT Business Analyst Consultant

FOP CONSULTANTS is seeking dedicated IT business analyst consultants to fulfill client needs in the technology sector. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with management and stakeholders to analyze IT requirements, propose solutions, manage implementation projects, and engage in various continuous improvement initiatives for IT processes and systems.
Main Responsibilities:The key tasks include:
- Evaluating and understanding client business objectives, processes, and strategies, identifying challenges, and providing suitable recommendations;
- Working closely with clients and stakeholders to analyze, define, and document IT requirements effectively;
- Conducting risk assessments for pre-projects and change notices;
- Assisting in the creation of functional and business analysis documentation while identifying best practices in the industry;
- Formulating solutions, assessing their impacts, and offering recommendations aligned with business strategies, needs, timelines, and budgets;
- Acting as a bridge between clients, technical teams, and testing personnel to ensure clarity in operational IT requirements;
- Managing projects using established templates for deliverables and progress reporting;
- Collaborating with clients during testing phases, overseeing migration, and post-implementation activities with project teams;
- Facilitating user training on new features and systems;
- Staying updated on IT solutions to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of client systems and processes.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems management, or a related field;
- 1 to 10 years of experience in the IT sector;
- Relevant experience in business analysis;
- Experience with agile and traditional project management methodologies;
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle, including specifications, testing, and stabilization;
- Experience in Microsoft O365 environments;
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is a plus;
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM software;
- Proficient in the MS Office suite;
- Strong communication and writing skills in both French and English;
- Willingness to travel is an asset.
