Position Overview: Lifeline Homecare is in search of a proficient and committed Registered Nurse to take on the role of Director of Nursing Services. This position entails supervising the provision of exceptional patient care and managing nursing staff, while ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage home care services delivered by the organization, maintaining high care standards and compliance with established protocols.
  2. Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff, providing mentorship and guidance.
  3. Formulate and execute policies and procedures aimed at enhancing patient care and operational effectiveness.
  4. Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure coordinated patient care and address any arising concerns.
  5. Revise existing policies and create new ones to streamline operations and elevate patient care quality.
  6. Guarantee compliance with all regulatory standards, organizational policies, and home care guidelines.
  7. Proactively address and resolve patient or staff issues in a prompt and effective manner.
  8. Manage the budget for clinical services, including equipment and staffing requirements.
  9. Perform additional related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. Registered Nurse with a valid license
  2. Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  3. 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Canada
  4. Strong understanding of clinical practices, regulations, and standards.
  5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Capability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other pertinent software applications.
