About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Janasi Industries Ltd. as a Process Control Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in electrical engineering and process control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Develop and implement electrical and electronic systems and equipment, including design specifications, material cost estimates, and timing estimates.
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures and develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance projects.
  • Commission systems and components, and set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas units and gas meters.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical engineering and process control.
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
  • Travel may be required, but is not a primary aspect of the job.
