We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lawtons Pharmacy in Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions
- Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
- Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic
- Provide injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
- Ensure the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
- Conduct the final check of prepared prescriptions
- Confirm the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
Requirements:
- Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
