Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at COBS Bread Bakery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers.
- Decorating and Presentation: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as required.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced bakery environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Capabilities: Stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in preparation and presentation of products.
- Teamwork: Work effectively as a team player to achieve bakery goals.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
