Job Summary

Central Rx Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Clean and Maintain Equipment**: Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained to prevent contamination and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
  • **Compound and Package Medications**: Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • **Prepare Solutions for Specimen Preservation**: Prepare solutions for the preservation of specimens in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • **Bill Third-Party Insurers**: Bill third-party insurers for medications and services provided to patients.
  • **Maintain Inventory of Medications and Prescription Records**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of medications and prescription records.
  • **Maintain Supplies**: Ensure all supplies are properly stocked and maintained to prevent shortages and delays.
  • **Clean and Restore Ocular Prostheses**: Clean and restore ocular prostheses in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • **Interpret Physician's Specifications**: Interpret physician's specifications for medications and treatments.
  • **Maintain Inventory of Equipment**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of equipment.
  • **Prepare and Maintain Cleanliness of Collection Areas**: Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • **Order Supplies and Equipment**: Order supplies and equipment as needed to prevent shortages and delays.
  • **Organize and Maintain Inventory**: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment.
  • **Assist Healthcare Professionals**: Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • **Pharmacy Technician Certification**: Must possess a valid pharmacy technician certification.
  • **Computer and Technology Knowledge**: Must possess basic computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • **Security and Safety**: Must possess a valid criminal record check and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**: Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • **Personal Suitability**: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
