Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ground Handler to join our team at the Vancouver Air Gateway Operations. As a Ramp Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading Aircraft: Safely load and unload air containers and packages onto aircraft, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Operating Ground Equipment: Operate various ground equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, to facilitate the movement of cargo.
  • Directing Aircraft Movement: Direct planes to and from parking positions, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft movement.
  • Assisting with Safety Measures: Assist with safety measures around the aircraft, including ensuring proper tie-downs and securing cargo.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to Multitask: Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable in a Fast-Paced Environment: Be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Permanent Shift: Work a permanent shift, Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver's license.
  • Capability to Lift Up to 70 Lbs: Demonstrate the capability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted.
  • Willingness to Work Primarily Outdoors: Be willing to work primarily outdoors.
