Job Title: Lead Coordinator - Shipping & Receiving

Position Type: Full Time – Regular

Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Compensation: CAD 18/hour

Job Overview:

As a Lead Coordinator in Shipping Services, you will be responsible for managing and directing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining operational efficiency and service excellence. This role demands strong leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workflows and prioritize tasks to guarantee timely completion of assignments while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Evaluate performance metrics, including productivity and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address service-related challenges and drive process improvements.
  • Participate in national team meetings to share insights, set objectives, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex client inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Analyze service delivery trends to identify root causes of issues and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements, sharing relevant knowledge with the team.
  • Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
  • Perform daily shipping, receiving, and mailroom tasks as a primary function of the role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with online shipping platforms.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, with a commitment to quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including integrity and the ability to inspire team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1 or more years in a similar role, ideally within a client services or operational context.

Compensation Information:

The starting pay for this position is CAD 18.00 per hour, with potential variations based on experience and qualifications. Additional bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package may be included.
