Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer to enhance our team at Astra North Infoteck Inc. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in Oracle Fusion Middleware Development, specifically with Oracle Fusion Middleware 12g (OSB, SOA), and manage Fusion Middleware upgrades.
  • Provide comprehensive application administration for configuring and extending enterprise applications.
  • Support all Oracle Fusion Middleware Hosting activities.
  • Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Middleware (OSB & SOA).
  • Analyze existing Fusion architecture and recommend enhancements.
  • Execute Oracle Fusion Middleware environment clones as necessary.
  • Generate documentation as required for processes and systems.
  • Facilitate the deployment of 'Business Processes' and 'IT Services' into Development, Test, and Production Environments under Change Management Governance.
  • Demonstrate competencies in RFID Middleware.

Experience Required (Years): 6-8

Essential Skills:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware Development is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12g (OSB, SOA).
  • Experience in transitioning components from SOA to OSB.
  • Proficient in Fusion Middleware upgrades.
  • Skilled in designing and developing applications using Java 1.6 and above.
  • Experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12g framework for creating technical solutions based on business processes.
  • Proficient in design, architecture, development, and unit testing of Java web-based applications and middleware.
  • Experience with BPEL and BP.
  • Familiarity with XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and SOAP/REST web services.
  • Experience with Java web frameworks such as STRUTS and SPRING.
  • Well-versed in scripting languages like bash/shell or Perl.
  • Experience in Oracle database development, including tools like TOAD, Sql*Plus, and SQL workbench.
  • Comprehensive experience in designing SOAP and JSON/REST services and integrating APIs from external third parties.
  • Preferred experience in Oracle database programming.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, object construction, and application architecture strategies.
  • Experience across multiple platforms, including Linux-based and Sun Solaris systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL developer.
  • Adept at understanding front-end user requirements with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Shell scripting.
    • Configuration and maintenance of WebLogic.
