We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Foodland. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Trimming: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
- Meat Preparation: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and remove bones from meat.
- Packaging and Display: Wrap and package prepared meats, and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring high-quality meat products and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train on the job.
- Work Setting: Supermarket and meat department.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, 40 hours per week, and work term is permanent.
