About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at DDRC. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Provide support with daily living activities, including personal care and medication management
  • Facilitate community inclusion and socialization through recreational activities and outings
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Document and report on client progress and any concerns or issues
Requirements
  • Disabilities studies certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Current Standard First Aid CPR/AED certification
  • Driver's license and vehicle (an asset)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
