About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at A R Homes Inc. as a Construction Worker. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and paving asphalt.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work and assist in repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Health and Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and tend to or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs) with assistance.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
