Senior Game Artist

WB Games Montréal, a division of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), is seeking a Senior Game Artist to join their team.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the development team and environment artists to create high-quality visual elements and props. Your responsibilities include developing and refining artistic resources for specific game sections, assisting in defining processes, pipelines, and aesthetic goals.
Responsibilities- Develop models and textures for both hard and organic surfaces while adhering to the established artistic direction.
- Produce and iterate on a variety of models throughout all production phases.
- Establish quality references and goals by creating high-quality environment resources.
- Collaborate with the design team to propose artistic solutions that consider gameplay requirements.
- Identify and constructively resolve level design challenges.
- Regularly present your work to management and implement feedback received.
- Mentor other team artists, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance overall team skills.
- Collaborate with the team to define best practices and workflows.
- Optimize and debug levels to meet memory budgets and design specifications.
- Play the game to understand its development and provide informed feedback on playable areas.
- Over 5 years of experience as a video game artist on AAA titles.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment with strong communication skills.
- Ability to creatively solve problems with focus and motivation.
- Proficiency in 3D Studio Max or Maya.
- Professional experience with a game engine, preferably Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of Zbrush is a plus.
- Shader creation skills are a plus.
- Passion for and knowledge of video games.
- Portfolio or website showcasing artistic skills.
