Job Title: Child Care Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Provider to join our team at Mr. Wechsler. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to infants and children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for children, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Engage children in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Establish a daily routine that includes rest periods, playtime, and educational activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition of care.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities, meals, and sleep patterns.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a 40-hour week, including evenings and weekends.
Work Environment:

Our home-based child care setting is a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.

Language:

English or French is required for this position.
