Job Overview

Westcon Precast Inc is seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team. This role involves working in an industrial setting where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
Work Environment

The position requires own transportation and involves physically demanding tasks including:

  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Performing repetitive tasks
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
  • Utilize power vibrators to compact concrete effectively.
  • Tamp concrete using electric vibrators.
  • Set up necessary equipment for concrete pouring.
  • Fill molds with concrete and ensure proper positioning of steel bars or metal mesh for reinforcement.
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain work requirements.
